YFG is happy to offer Event Flower Buckets for DIY customers!

This is an affordable alternative for creating your own centerpieces/bloom bars/party favors for events like anniversary, graduations, birthdays, weddings, and parties.  YFG flowers are great for those who have the creative talent and patience to make her own bouquets or centerpieces. Your creativity will provide an extra special custom look using local fresh grown flowers.

Bulk flowers are the perfect option if…

      • You are bothered by flowers being shipped in from other countries and loaded with pesticides

Event Flower Bucket orders must be placed a minimum of 2 weeks before your event date.  We cannot accommodate anything sooner than that.  We do not offer delivery for DIY buckets.  You must pick-up at the barn.  Please bring your own empty, clean 5-gallon bucket(s) for pick up.  There is a charge of $10.00 per bucket if you take ours.

All flowers from YFG are grown and harvested on our property. Spring offers fewer flower options than summer and fall months in Ohio.   

Proper care and storage of cut flowers is required as these are perishable items!  All blooms must be transported and stored in a cool place, kept in fresh clean water and out of direct sunlight.  

TIP:  Keep in mind when planning events that you don’t wait until the morning of to create your bouquets.  Our flowers are picked fresh for you and will last several days (often 5 – 11 days minimum depending on the flower variety).  Go ahead and plan accordingly and make your items in advance and continue to store in a cool place and keep them hydrated.  This will reduce your stress and allow the flowers time to hydrate to be at their peak performance.

Greenery Bucket

    • Favorite Annuals: zinnias, snapdragons, celosia, cosmos, marigolds, ageratum, strawflower, aster, and more. ($10 – $15 per bunch)
    • Specialty Blooms; peony, dahlia, lisianthus, tulip, sunflowers, lily ($20 – $25 per bunch)

Book early to ensure your date is available as a limited number of events per week are permitted. We require a 50% deposit upon booking to reserve your date/order, with the balance due at pick-up. Deposit is non-refundable. You can expect an email reply within 24 hours. Once your order is finalized, additional details and payment link will be emailed.
