Something new is blooming at Yellow Finch Gardens this spring.
For three years, we’ve grown these flowers for you — at the stand, in your Flower Club bouquets, at our workshops. You’ve told us again and again how much you love them. So we started thinking: what if you could grow them yourself?
That’s exactly what our Cut Flower Garden Kits are. Every plant in these kits is the same variety we grow right here on our farm. The same Karma dahlias. The same antique zinnias. The same celosia that makes every bouquet look like it came from an art studio. Fresh cut flowers in your own backyard, all summer long.
Two collections. Two of our daughters. One beautiful idea.
We named these collections after two of our daughters — Erica and Brooke — because this whole farm has always been, at its heart, a family story. The personality of each collection reflects who they really are. These kits carry a little bit of them in every bloom.
the brooke collection - Pastel Colors | $95
Sophisticated and elegant. Soft corals, blush, apricot, and cream — colors that evoke a calm and subtle grace.
45 seedlings including Karma Corona, Karma Amanda, and Café au Lait dahlias, antique zinnias, Cosmos Apricot Lemonade, celosia, ageratum, and Potomac Appleblossom snapdragons.
the erica collection - bright colors | $95
Dynamic, celebratory, joyful. Vivid orange, electric purple, bold pink, and magenta-violet — a garden that feels happy.
45 seedlings including Karma Naomi, Karma Blue Lagoon, and Karma Caroline dahlias, bold zinnias, Doubledutch cosmos, supercrest celosia, ageratum, and Royal Purple snapdragons.

How it works:
- Pre-order now to reserve your kit — quantities are strictly limited
- We’ll reach out with your pickup date, which will likely be sometime in mid-May
- Pick up your seedlings at the farm, ready to go straight into your garden
- Plant in full sun, well-drained soil — garden bed, raised bed, or large containers
- Cut your first blooms in July. Keep cutting. Watch them come back even better.

We love our flowers and know you will too! However, there are several things we can’t control such as deer, drought, floods, heat waves, late frosts, early frosts, that weird Ohio week where it does all of the above, or the occasional lapse in your watering motivation.
